We’ve been out of action for a bit, but that’s alright. It was due to the lack of internet caused by moving. Yes. Both Studio and home. I’m settled in the home front for now, although there’s heaps of things yet to be put away. And as for the studio front, we’ll keep you in the dark for now! ;)
Anyway, Brusche Hair Design. Yes. Brusche is run by a bunch of girls that are dedicated to hairdressing. I would know this because I use to worked there before I decided to built AWP Inc.
Sometimes a stranger will somehow in some way make your day without knowing they did so themselves. Have anyone ever had that happened to them before?
What this lady wrote on that piece of paper on that day, I didn’t even notice it until I came home and edit it. She almost lost her partner and the LOVE of Doctors and Nurses saved him and cared for him. She is forever thankful and great-full to those who worked at Austin Hospital.
PSTL. Project Share The Love. Yup. It sounds like just what it is. A project that a few of us got together and decided to do. Do what you say? Share the Love of cause! So a couple of weeks ago, on ANZ Day here in Melbourne, we decided we’ll give out FREE Chocolates up in front of the State Library.
The idea was to take to the streets the question, “What is LOVE?”
So on the 26th of April 2010 (Anzac Monday), the PSTL team, together with the help of a few other amazing people, stood at the pavement in front of the State Library in Melbourne to hand out free Cadbury chocolates to people passing by.
At the same time, we approached people to find out their definition of ‘love’. Armed with a piece of coloured paper and a marker in their hands, they began to crack their brains to come up with their definition of ‘love’.
And in one afternoon, eyes were opened as people began to realise what ‘love’ truly means. Check out the photos below to find out what the people of Melbourne perceive ‘love’ to be.
There’s only a few things that happened usually once in a life time. The big birthdays, 18th, 21st, 50th and so on. Then there’s your engagement, your wedding day, and your first born. A lot of people tend to forget about their graduation. I reckon a graduation is as good as any other occasion to have great memories of.
I mean, you did spend at least 3-7 years of your life in uni. Day in day out, week in week out. And graduating from uni I reckon is a BIG deal!
A wedding day should one of those “Happiest Day Of You Life” moments. Don’t you think so? I mean, what else could be better? Saying “I Do” to the love of your life in front of all your family and friends…
Having your parents walk you down the aisle, wearing your dream wedding dress, and having the perfect day. A wedding day is one to be remember forever.
A couple of weeks ago I had the privileged to shoot one of our friend’s big day. And not only that, I had the chance to work with one of my childhood heroes in that sense. Or more so a mentor? Basically someone you sorta wanna be when you were a kid. Alvin Leong. He was one of few photographers back home in Kuching, and when I saw few, I mean close to non back in the day… But Sharlene’s parents managed to get him over here for their big day, and I manage to catch up with him quite a bit while he was here. It was good to be able to talk as adults and learn from each other. Photographer to Photographer.
Getting ready for a wedding is a big task. (For a girl maybe). Us guys, we take it easy. Look at Vinh, he’s just chilling. He only put on his suit when the guess started to arrive!
