For the pass few weeks we’ve been busying shooting interesting buildings and what no. One of our clients got us in touch with a major developing company and we basically got the job to shoot some of their newly done buildings.
I find it pretty cool. They turn old buildings and completely change them from the inside out..
The question is, to bean or not to bean? Haha For those who knows what I’m talking about, I’m sure there were some good times shared between friends that were unforgettable no?
This game might have cost me a fair bit, but it’s brought me so much more joy in return. Money well spent I say! So it was Qivin’s 21st birthday, after dinner we thought we’d do something as a group together. Where else better to go at 11pm?
I don’t usually reblog people’s photos but this one, this one I just had to do it! The couple, Andre and Cheryl I’ve known for a long time now. Such a loving couple and Cheryl is THE ONLY person that could get Andre to eat his vegietables. Hah! Not to mention it’s shot by one of my close friend and mentor, Wedding photographer Jonathan Ong. Jon was the one that sold me my first ever DSLR and taught me out to operate a camera. His visions and dreams are so unreal that I could spend hours just hanging out with him and chatting away!
So there you go. A very very beautiful set of engagement photos which I love dearly! Enjoy
Andre & Cheryl’s story of how they got together is a great one. I sometimes wish I had the boldness Andre had, because out of that boldness he found love. And everyone knows that only love can make a man eat his vegetables :)
I’ve been asked a lot lately, what is my favourite lens. I’d have to say it’s still my trusty 50mm. It’s the first lens ever that I bought aside from the kit lens that came with my camera, I LOVED it back then, and I still do today. Period. I reckon anyone that is remotely serious about photography should have one in their bag.
I take it out whenever I can’t be stuff carrying all of my gear, or when I’m just lazy and wanted to go for a walk. It’s on my camera most of the time. It’s the one I use to shoot products, gigs, and pretty much everything else. If you’re thinking about it, just go GET ONE!
About a month ago, we were asked to have a little booth at one of Melbourne Uni’s event. The MUOSS Night Market. The idea was pretty cool, we didn’t have to do much, and we had HEAPS of FUN! I guess at the end of the day, us being creatives, that’s what we get paid to do hey? To try and be more creative?
So we got together, and brain stormed. There was a number of things we could have done, but in the end we just decided it would be a lot more fun if we did a FREE PHOTOSHOOT!
Because Having Coffee with People Who Inspire You is Essential...
Going out for coffee is one of my FAVOURITE pass time. Just sitting and chatting away about how life has been, or even just sitting there with a good song and chilling. Sometimes I even bring my lappy out with me so I can do some work while I’m out. Simply just because the feeling a good cafe gives you is priceless, oh wait, it’s around $3.50 I think. Cos you need to buy a cuppa to sit there! haha
So this time round, Dee introduce me to this place at Melbourne Central called Emily’s. Good coffee. Love the tiny little place! And not to mention I miss Dee so much!
So I got the gig to shoot sport cars. It was one heck of a shoot. I finished it and had to redo the whole thing all over again for stupid reasons that I won’t even bother mentioning. All in all I went out for about 10 or 11 nights doing this? But I have to say…
It was WAY FUN! Being able to drive these babies… and have the honour to photograph them… what more can a boy like me ask for!?!?!?
